Use Your Office Skills to Make a Difference as an Administrative Volunteer
Do you enjoy staying organized and supporting a team? Administrative Volunteers help our staff provide excellent care through a variety of office tasks. This is a meaningful opportunity if you prefer a non-patient-facing role.
What Administrative Volunteers Do:
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and assist staff with follow-up calls
- Copy, file, and prepare mailings
- Create and organize admission packets
- Assemble volunteer orientation and in-service materials
- Help with supply inventory
- Support special projects as needed
Why Volunteer in the Office?
- Flexible scheduling during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)
- Opportunities to build skills in organization, communication, and teamwork
- A meaningful way to contribute to hospice care without direct patient contact
Qualifications:
· Volunteer must be at least 16 with reliable transportation
· Criminal background check & drug screening
· Completion of hospice volunteer training and orientation
