Who We Are
At Community Help Network our main focus is on addressing food insecurity in students. Our mission is to provide programming, such as Buddy Bags, to help eliminate food insecurity and systemic poverty in the southern portion of Lake County, IN. We serve those citizens in our community that dwell in poverty, acclaiming their diversity with equity and inclusiveness.
What We Do
Supply Weekend Meals (Buddy Bags) to over 700 Elementary & Middle Schools in 4 districts. Operate a Household Pantry serving over 100 low-income families in South Lake County. Ladle of Love soup kitchen on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Open to All! Provide support to the community through various other events and programs.
